Pan Grilled Squid

Calling all seafood lovers, this is the perfect dish just for you. A squid that is marinated with super rich flavours of Japanese Oyster Essence Sauce and Soy Sauce, a combination grilled to perfection that is suited for meals of any day.

Ingredients

200 g

Large squid, cleaned

1 tsp

Cooking oil

4 tbsp

Hamadaya Japanese Soy Sauce

1 tsp

Hamadaya Japanese Oyster Essence Sauce

½ tsp

Ginger paste

½ tsp

Sugar

1 ½ tbsp

Water

Method

1. Combine all sauce ingredients. Mix well.

2. Marinate squid with 1 tbsp of sauce mixture. Set aside for 30 minutes.

3. Add remaining sauce to a pot. Boil until sauce thickens. Remove and set aside.

4. Preheat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add squid to the pan.

5. Once cooked, remove squid and slice into rings.

6. Arrange squid on a plate, drizzle sauce on top.
