A simple and easy dish to master, now everyone can be a masterchef at home. Aromatic garlic fried rice served with prawn skewers is the perfect combination.

For prawns: Large prawns, peeled and deveined

For prawns: Hamadaya Japanese Oyster Essence Sauce

For prawns: Ground black pepper

For fried rice: Japanese short grain rice

For fried rice: Beaten eggs

For fried rice: Garlic oil

1. Marinate prawns with Hamadaya Japanese Oyster Essence Sauce and ground black pepper.
2. Lightly oil a pan. Pan fry the prawns then set aside.
3. Preheat cooking oil in a wok. Stir fry garlic over low heat until golden brown. Strain and set aside.
4. Preheat garlic oil then add in butter. Pour in beaten eggs and stir it around.
5. Add in cooked Japanese short grain rice and stir fry until loose.
6. Season with Hamadaya Japanese Soy Sauce, ground black pepper and salt. Stir and toss to combine.
7. Add in spring onions and fried garlic and give it a final toss.
8. Place the prawn skewer beside the rice. Serve hot.
