Hamadaya joined BlackCamp My GroundZero 3.0, an outdoor camping event organised by Black Camp MY.
Set against the cool and scenic backdrop of Cameron Highlands, the gathering brought together around 70 families — each with their signature black tents, outdoor gear, and a strong sense of community and adventure.
Over the weekend, Hamadaya had the chance to connect deeply with campers through a series of engaging activities, including the Campsite Cook-Off Contest, Battle of the Chefs, and Campfire Story Session — as well as two evenings of sampling sessions: the first night featuring comforting Oden Hotpot, and the second night with Japanese Curry.
The Battle of the Chefs was particularly impressive, with 20 groups cooking side by side in nature — creatively preparing Enoki Beef Rolls in their own styles, showcasing unique techniques and beautiful plating.
In the cozy, misty weather of Cameron Highlands, Hamadaya’s Japanese Oden Soup Base and Spicy Oden Soup Base brought warmth and comfort to the campers, earning heartfelt compliments for both taste and convenience. Meanwhile, the Japanese Curry, with its natural sweetness from apple purée and gentle spiciness, was a clear favourite among children — many coming back for second servings!
We truly enjoyed the vibrant Black Camp vibes and are grateful to welcome many new fans of Hamadaya through this memorable event — a weekend of good food, genuine smiles, and shared moments under the highland sky. 🌿
