Hamadaya brought the warmth of Japanese comfort food to Bon Odori 2025, joining both Sunway City Kuala Lumpur and LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre celebrations. Visitors experienced the joyful matsuri spirit with delicious food, lively performances, and hands-on cultural activities.
At the Hamadaya booth, guests enjoyed flavorful sampling trials, including Oden and Spicy Oden Soup, Japanese Curry, and air-fried chicken coated with Soy Garlic, Teriyaki, and Yakiniku sauces.
Exclusive event promotions offered great deals on Hamadaya’s ready-to-cook sauces and soup bases. With every purchase of any Ready-to-Cook Sauce + Oden Soup Base, visitors received a limited edition ✨Oden Buddy✨ blind envelope—each one featuring a quirky name and personality! From the soft-hearted Puffy-san, cheerful Trio Bath Buddies, and energetic Momo Bros, to dreamy Tamago-chans, shiny Shii-chans, half-shy Sunny Oden, and the rare guest Gentei Shii-chan—collecting them became a fun matsuri challenge for many.
At LaLaport Bon Odori, Hamadaya also set up an instagrammable “Jelly Cat” booth, where participants could collect the full Oden Buddy set and immerse themselves in a charming oden cart experience, blending playfulness with Japanese culinary culture.
