Hamadaya participated in Nihon Matsuri 2024, marking its first-ever outdoor event in Malaysia, celebrating Japanese culture and flavors under the stars at Bukit Jalil Stadium.
Visitors were greeted with a scenic bamboo arch walkway, leading to festive attractions such as the largest inflatable Maneki Neko, Maneki Neko wall, Ema wishing wall, and Sasakazari decorations, creating a truly immersive matsuri atmosphere.
Over 480 lucky visitors redeemed Hamadaya vouchers from the Nihon Matsuri Gift Tower, each receiving a pack of Hamadaya’s signature ready-to-cook sauces: Japanese Curry Sauce, Soy Garlic Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce, or Yakiniku Sauce.
At the Hamadaya booth, guests enjoyed flavorful sampling trials, including Oden and Spicy Oden Soup, Japanese Curry, and grilled chicken infused with Teriyaki and Yakiniku sauces.
Exclusive event promotions offered great deals on Hamadaya’s range of ready-to-cook sauces, soup bases, soy sauces, and oyster sauce sets, complemented by special gifts with purchase—from adorable Neko hand fans and kitchen towels to sauce plates and PP woven bags.
In collaboration with Jasmine Sushi Rice, guests also enjoyed Chicken Teriyaki Onigiri, made using Hamadaya Teriyaki Sauce at the Jasmine booth—a delicious blend of Japanese taste and local creativity.
